Nov 3, 2023
The entry form for the Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 6 is now available.
After a three-year hiatus, the Short Track U.S. Nationals ‘The Last Lap’ Presented by Vores Welding & Steel and Owosso Speedway are returning for one final time in 2024, giving drivers who were unable to participate in the event in 2020 another chance to take on “The Last Great Colosseum.”
The CRA Street Stock Series, Midwest Modifieds Tour Powered by Wheeler Trucking and Vores Compact Touring Series Powered by Mercer County Electric will all be taking part in the 2024 edition of the Short Track U.S. Nationals.
Teams that register before the early entry deadline of Friday, March 8 will receive a complimentary official event poster, designed and hand-drawn by Joseph Perry of Texas.
Preferred infield parking will also be available to Street Stock and Modified competitors who enter early. Those teams are encouraged to submit their entries as soon as possible to lock in their parking locations.
The Short Track U.S. Nationals will be a one-day show on Saturday, April 6. Sunday, April 7 is available as a rain date if necessary. While there will not be on-track activity on Friday, April 5, the speedway will be open for optional hauler parking, technical inspections and tire mounting.
The event will also be the first of three races in the "King of the Highbanks" series for the three participating divisions. The other King of the Highbanks events will take place June 8 at Salem Speedway and during the World Stock Car Festival at Winchester Speedway on Labor Day weekend.
