Nov 21, 2023
General admission tickets, standing room only tickets and infield passes are still available for Sunday, December 3 at the Snowball Derby.
Over a week before any car hits the track, officials at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida have already announced that Reserved Seating for the 56th annual Snowball Derby is sold out. General admission tickets, standing room only tickets and infield passes are still available for Sunday. General Admission tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday are available as well.
“Fans have been calling every single day since we started ticket sales wanting seats to the 56th annual Snowball Derby,” said track General Manager, Tim Bryant. “Each year we are impressed with the response and each year the fans keep raising the bar. We say sold out, but we will have plenty of room in the infield and with our general admission areas.”
With the announcement, the track also would like to remind people about the parking information ahead of race day. There is a limited amount of free parking on-site at the track and fans are reminded that they can shuttle in from the Pensacola Fairgrounds on race day. Carpooling to a parking destination is also encouraged.
“We have a lot of partners and local businesses that help make the logistics of the Snowball Derby possible on race day,” added Bryant. “The shuttles will run every half hour from the fairgrounds to the track so we can accommodate as many fans as we can.”
While the reserved seats are taken for the Snowball Derby, general admission seats are still available for the Allen Turner Snowflake 100 on Saturday. The day of racing action includes the Snowball Derby last chance race and Snowflake 100 last chances races and the Outlaw 50-lap race.
Friday is pole night for the Snowball Derby as the top 30 drivers will lock themselves into Sunday’s race in time trials. Following that the Crown Stock Invite 25-lap race will showcase the hottest new division at Five Flags that drew over 50 cars just a week before. The nightcap will be the 75-lap Modfiied’s of Mayhem championship race.
Thursday will be a full day of practice for both Super Late Model and Pro Late Model teams with Pro Trucks and Sportsman racing 50 laps with Pure Stocks going 35 circuits. Stay tuned to Five Flags Speedway’s Facebook page for updates and information each day.
