Qualifying Results: Ty Majeski Claims Pole for 57th Annual Snowball Derby

Ty Majeski set fast time in qualifying during Country Pleasin' Sausage Pole Night at Five Flags Speedway for the 57th Annual Snowball Derby on Friday.

Majeski, a two-time winner of the event, clocked in at 16.175 seconds for his second career Snowball Derby pole position, nearly resetting his track record of 16.120 seconds set in 2015.

Kaden Honeycutt was second in the qualifying session, followed by William Sawalich, Haeden Plybon and Connor Okrzesik.

With the top 30 qualifiers locking into the field, Stephen Nasse took the final spot. He and Nick Loden timed in with identical laps of 16.396 seconds, placing 29th and 30th. Nicholas Naugle will lead the field to the green flag in the Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday after qualifying 31st.

John Bolen has been granted the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series provisional after qualifying 36th. Billy VanMeter received the ASA Southern Super Series provisional following a 40th place qualifying effort.

The final Snowball Derby practice is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. CT/12:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, a chance for teams to either prepare for the Snowball Derby or make final adjustments ahead of Saturday's Last Chance Qualifier.

The green flag waves on the 57th Annual Snowball Derby at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, December 8.
