The Best Appearing Car award at the Snowball Derby has always drawn plenty of attention and significance during the marquee Super Late Model weekend. Teams will often arrive at Five Flags Speedway with special designs just for the event, whether they be special one-off schemes for the Derby, nostalgic throwbacks, festive holiday schemes as the calendar turns to December, or a brand-new look ahead of the 2025 season.
With the continued and increased support of HDFive, the award for this year's event will be even bigger.
HDFive announced on Tuesday the prizes up for grabs for the Best Appearing Car awards at the 57th Snowball Derby as well as the Allen Turner Snowflake 100. Along with the Best Appearing Car Trophy, the winner of the Snowball Derby's Best Appearing Car award will receive a brand new Five Star Race Car body as well as a $500 marketing kit courtesy of HDFive.

HDFive is celebrating its 10th anniversary partnering with the celebrated event and looking to make this year's Best Appearing Car event as special as possible.
They have also redefined the Best Appearing Car award, shifting away from a fan popularity contest to focus on excellence in design, print and installation of the wraps that adorn cars during the Snowball Derby.
"This award is not just about looks - it's about recognizing the hard work and collaboration between the design, print and install behind each race car," said Tim Horvath II of HDFive. "Being our 10th year at the Snowball we wanted to do something big for the teams that go big every time they hit the track."
Award recipients will be based on criteria regarding the quality of the print, the quality of the installation and the design and creativity of the race car.
The 57th Snowball Derby takes place at Five Flags Speedway on December 4-8. Teams across all divisions will also have a chance to prepare for the Derby during the Snowball Derby Preview on Saturday, November 23.
