56th Annual Snowball Derby to Pay Record Purse for Event

Beginning at 5:00 p.m. CDT Tuesday, September 12th, entry links will go live for the 56th Annual Snowball Derby, presented by Hooters, as well as the Allen Turner Snowflake 100.
Recent announcements about 2023 purse structure changes have garnered lots of interest, so entry lists are expected to reach impressive numbers. As a note of interest to racers, the order in which the entries are received will present some interesting advantages.
On Wednesday, November 29th, pre-race technical inspections will be done as always, with the top 10 in Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series points, and the top 10 in Allen Turner Pro Late Model points, inspected first. After that, inspections will be done by order of entry. Additionally, the Wednesday Night Qualifying Drawdown will be done by order of entry for each respective Division.
In essence, the teams who enter earliest could have an opportunity to have the shortest day on Wednesday. On track action begins on Thursday and culminates with Sunday’s 300-lnap Snowball Derby. Other Division entry forms will become available in the coming days.
