History of the Horvath Best Appearing Car Award at the Snowball Derby

Ansli Brown of Pensacola won the Miss Snowball Derby crown on Friday evening in Seville Quarter in downtown Pensacola. She takes over the title of Miss Snowball Derby from Berkley Harp.
Along with the crown of Miss Snowball Derby, Brown won a $1,000 cash prize courtesy of Fast Cast ATM and a David Yurman bracelet courtesy of Jewelers Trade Shop in Pensacola. She will also represent Five Flags Speedway over the next year, starting with the 57th Annual Snowball Derby on December 4-8.
Brown won among a field of 15 contestants, judged in evening wear and fun fashion. First runner-up was Lilyana Brown from Pace, Florida, while Taylor Baggett of Jay, Florida was second runner-up.
Bella Rae Sandlin from Easley, South Carolina was crowned Miss Congeniality of the pageant. Bella Robitaille of Pensacola was named the Most Photogenic contestant.
The Snowball Derby festivities continue on Saturday, November 23 with the Snowball Derby Preview at Five Flags Speedway. The final open practice day ahead of the Snowball Derby, teams will hit the track for practice starting at 10 a.m. CT.
During the final round of practice, a cash prize will be up for grabs in each division for the fastest driver of the session. Following the "money runs," the Crown Stock Derby 40 takes center stage for the Story & Bleich Roofing Crown Stocks, with more than 40 entries already on hand for the event.
