RTA Media Closes Series B Funding for its Racing America Platform

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (January 23, 2024) – RTA Media Holdings, LLC (RTA Media) announced today the completion of its Series B round of funding through investments made by a combination of the RTA Member Teams and other outside strategic investors. RTA Media is the parent company of Racing America, its digital-centric, direct to consumer motorsports media platform. Racing America’s business priorities are live event streaming, content creation/sponsorship, and production services. The company is an affiliate of the Race Team Alliance (RTA) and is majority owned by the RTA Member Teams.

Racing America focuses on creating and publishing live and on-demand motorsports content on three main platforms – RacingAmerica.com, RacingAmerica.TV (OTT platform) and the Racing America Channel (24/7 FAST free streaming service). This past year saw the growth of both the audience and subscribers to the platform, increasing households reached by Racing America’s FAST Channel, the introduction of Racers Forum (a racing industry B-to-B confab) and the launch of new sites RacerJobs.com (a digital recruitment platform featuring hundreds of available jobs in the U.S. motorsports industry and RacerTravel.com (a digital travel savings platform specializing in low hotel rates for racing destinations).
