Short Track U.S. Nationals Returning for 'Last Lap' in 2024

The Vores Compact Touring Series Powered By Mercer County Electric, Inc. has unveiled its 2024 season schedule, with 11 races on the calendar for the upcoming season.
Of course, the biggest highlight of the schedule is the series' return to Bristol Motor Speedway for the Short Track U.S. Nationals: The Last Lap. That event will take place on April 5-6, and will also serve as the season opener for the 2024 campaign.
The Bristol event is part of the three-race "King of the Highbanks" series, which will also include the tour's stops at Salem Speedway on June 8 and Winchester Speedway on August 31-September 1.
The D&J Sales B4 Mini Series also returns for 2024, consisting of races at Anderson Speedway (April 27), Ona Speedway (May 18), Toledo Speedway (July 26) and Winchester. These dates offer double features, with the B4 Mini Series races giving competitors with lesser experience or accolades in the series a chance to compete for the win. Drivers that have not won an A main with the Vores Compacts or finished top 10 in VCTS season points in the last 5 years are eligible for those races.
The two largest paying races of the season include the traditional Vores Cup at Angola Motorsport Speedway on July 6 and the Bowl Classic at Shadybowl Speedway on July 27. The Bowl Classic is also part of a doubleheader weekend, with the series visiting Toledo Speedway on July 26.
The series wraps up the season taking part in two prestigious short track racing weekends, joining the card for the Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway and the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
