Dale Earnhardt, Jr. to Compete With CARS Tour at Cordele in April

Cordele Motor Speedway officials announced on Tuesday that NASCAR Cup Series competitor Ross Chastain is offering his support for the track's Pro Truck division during the 2025 racing season.
The division will now be known as the Melon Man Truck Series. The Melon Man Truck Series has five races in 2025 as part of Cordele's schedule.
Each of the five races will pay $1,200 to win and $200 to start. Melon Man Truck Series feature races will be 50 laps throughout the 2025 season.
The first race for the Melon Man Truck Series is scheduled for February 1, as a companion event to the first Super Late Model event for Super Fest 2025. The Melon Man Truck Series will also race on March 8, April 19, June 7 and August 30.

Chastain is also expected to compete in the season-opening event at Cordele Motor Speedway in 2025, ASA SpeedFest on January 17-18. Last year, Chastain finished second to Stephen Nasse during the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event during SpeedFest.
