Bubba Pollard Racing for the Super Late Model Community at SRX
Jun 17, 2022
Mooresville, N.C.- This Saturday night, the Grand National Super Series presented by Engineered Components Co. will take to Franklin County Speedway in Callaway, Virginia. This will be the first appearance by GNSS, as the prior race there was called for rain.
Thirteen cars are currently on the entry with several newcomers to the series. The most prominent of these is former Cup superstar Jeremy Mayfield.
"We are so honored to have Jeremy come and race with us. He is a true talent, and we are so excited to see him do battle with our guys," said Series owner Patty Simko Schacht early Thursday afternoon.
Clayton Rogers who is the current points leader, will be absent this weekend due to a prior commitment, leaving the door open for A.J. Henriksen to take the lead. Kevin Kromer will be back in his K2 Motorsports machine after driving the Showtime Motorsports car at Tri-County.
The gates for this Saturday June 18th's event open at 3p.m. with practice starting at 5. As usual we will have dual 50 lap races.
Please note Franklin County Speedway is cash only facility. We are currently working on a broadcast for the races. When details are finalized they will be announced via the Facebook page.
As always we want to thank our sponsors who make this possible; Engineered Components Co, Howe Racing Enterprises, Chalew Performance, and Circle Track Warehouse. For more information please visit www.grandnationalsuperseries.com
