Josh Berry Scores First Career NASCAR Cup Series Victory at Las Vegas

All three NASCAR National Series competed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 14-16, which means three drivers earned Xfinity Fastest Lap awards over the weekend. Ty Majeski, Connor Zilisch and Tyler Reddick earned those awards and their accompanying bonus points in the championship standings.
Ty Majeski earned the Xfinity Fastest Lap award in the Ecosave 200 for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series to start the weekend. Majeski's fastest lap took place on just the seventh lap of the race, with a lap time of 30.260 seconds.
Majeski finished fourth in the race, which ran late into Friday evening after weather impacted the event. Majeski maintains his lead in the Craftman Truck Series points standings over Corey Heim as he pursues a second-consecutive title.
Connor Zilisch posted the Xfinity Fastest Lap during Saturday's The LiUNA! for the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Zilisch turned a lap of 30.266 seconds as he passed Aric Almirola for the lead on lap 100.
Zilisch led 28 laps and finished ninth in Saturday's race. The result marked Zilisch's first top-10 on an oval in the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Zilisch jumped up five spots in the Xfinity Series points standings with the result, now sitting in ninth and tied with Ryan Sieg.
Tyler Reddick earned the Xfinity Fastest Lap award for Sunday's Pennzoil 400. On lap 202, Reddick clocked in at 29.194 seconds. Reddick led four times for 34 laps in Sunday's race, and had just taken the lead from Daniel Suarez when he set the fastest lap of the race. However, he'd surrender the lead to Suarez on lap 230 and pit shortly thereafter, trapping him a lap down when the caution flew on lap 244.
Reddick recovered for a 24th-place finish following that caution, while Suarez finished second in Josh Berry's first career NASCAR Cup Series win. Reddick is now tied for third in NASCAR Cup Series points with Chase Elliott.
The trio of NASCAR National Series will again be in action on March 21-23 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Baptist Health 200 takes place on Friday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET. The Hard Rock Bet 300 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series takes the green flag on Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. ET. The weekend concludes with the Straight Talk Wireless 400 on Sunday, March 23 at 3 p.m. ET.
