A.J. Allmedinger earned the Xfinity Fastest Lap award from the NASCAR Cup Series at Bristol Motor Speedway, while Kyle Larson clocked the fastest laps for both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Allmendinger set the Xfinity Fastest Lap in Sunday's Food City 500 on lap 396, shortly after his final green-flag pit stop. Allmendinger logged a lap of 15.380 seconds to earn the bonus point for the event, an average speed of 124.759 miles per hour.
It is Allmendinger's second Xfinity Fastest Lap award in the NASCAR Cup Series this season. He also won the award at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the second race of the season. Allmendinger is currently 16th in the Cup Series championship standings after finishing ninth on Sunday, his third top-10 finish in the last five races.
While Kyle Larson did not claim the Xfinity Fastest Lap in the Cup Series this weekend, he earned the award in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Bristol.
Larson clocked in at 15.787 seconds on lap 106 of Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity Series event, one of the 277 laps he led during the event he won.
Larson did not earn the bonus point for the award, as he is not declared for points in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. However, the point is still awarded to the No. 17 Hendrick Motorsports team in the owner standings.
For the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Larson registered his fast lap of 15.381 seconds on lap 246. This earned a bonus point for the No. 07 Spire Motorsports team. Larson finished second to Chandler Smith in the event.
Earlier this year, Larson won the Xfinity Fastest Lap award in the NASCAR Cup Series at Circuit of The Americas.
The NASCAR Cup Series enjoys an off weekend this weekend, but the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series return to Rockingham Speedway on April 18-19.
