The two-week NASCAR Olympics break is officially over as we are barreling towards the race weekend at Richmond Raceway this weekend. But with two weeks to work with, NASCAR drivers and teams still found ways to keep themselves busy in their off-time. Here is a recap of a large portion of what took place away from the NASCAR track over the two weeks:

Tyler Reddick Gets Married to Alexa DeLeon

23XI Racing's Tyler Reddick kicked off the two-week Olympic break by officially tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend Alexa DeLeon on Thursday, July 25.

Reddick and DeLeon shared photos from their wedding on Instagram.

A large portion of the NASCAR industry was at the Reddick wedding, including Reddick's 23XI Racing teammate Bubba Wallace.

Daniel Suárez and Julia Piquet Get Married in Brazil; Suárez Then Competed in NASCAR Brasil Series at Interlagos

Daniel Suárez and his longtime girlfriend Julia Piquet also chose to get married during the break as they had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony in Brazil on Tuesday, July 30. In a post on social media, Suárez said he, "Married the love of my life."

After the nuptials, Suárez competed in the NASCAR Brasil Series race weekend at Interlagos.

Suárez paced the field in opening practice at Interlagos and qualified fourth for the opening preliminary race, a race where he would ultimately cross the finish line first after a fourth-to-first charge on the final lap. However, Suárez was assessed a five-second penalty for rough driving, which dropped him to a P6 finish in the opening prelim race.

Suárez would rebound to win the second prelim race on Saturday evening, and then Suárez would finish fourth in the weekend finale race after he suffered from brake issues in that event. Overall, it was a successful weekend for Suárez at Interlagos, and his performance at the legendary road course paired with his wedding, should give Suárez some spring in his step as he heads back to the United States.

Kyle Larson Sweeps World of Outlaws at I-55; Ties All-Time Record with Third Ironman 55 Victory

Kyle Larson flexed his muscles on the dirt at I-55 Raceway for a weekend sweep in the World of Outlaws.

The first of his two wins this weekend incredibly came from the 21st starting spot. Larson drove like a man possessed as he clawed all the way through the field to score the race win in a last-lap pass over James McFadden on Friday night.

On Saturday night, in the Ironman 55, Larson did more Larson-like things as he knifed his way from the 12th starting spot to take his second consecutive win in the prestigious race, and his third career win in the event, which ties Larson for the all-time record with Craig Dollansky.

Ross Chastain Competes in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Event; Spotted Buying Watermelons

Ross Chastain competed in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Event at Road America this weekend, where his team came home with a 24th-place finish overall.

Chastain, who won his first career NASCAR Cup Series victory at the Circuit of the Americas road course in 2022, had never competed in an IMSA event prior to this weekend. Ken Fukuda was the other driver for Chastain's No. 16 Skip Barber Racing School entry in the event.

On Sunday, Mark Rette, co-owner of Rette Jones Racing, spotted Chastain at the store, and you'll never believe what produce the No. 1 Trackhouse Racing driver was looking at... yep, watermelons.

Cole Custer and his Wife Kari Welcome their First Child Callahan Brian

Cole Custer and his wife Kari have plenty of reason to celebrate as their first child Callahan Brian Custer was born during the Olympic Break. Custer, who will move back into the NASCAR Cup Series next season with the Haas Factory Team, has an additional week off in the NASCAR Xfinity Series before he returns to action at Michigan International Speedway in a couple of weeks.

Custer and his wife will get to enjoy plenty more snuggles with their new bundle of joy before Custer gets back to chasing after his second-consecutive NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.
