Watch the Hendrick Engine Builder Showdown Live on RacingAmerica.TV

The NASCAR Cup Series season may have ended on Sunday, but there's still at least one more very important competition this week for Hendrick Motorsports.

The Randy Dorton Hendrick Engine Builder Showdown occurs on the Hendrick Motorsports campus on November 13-14, as Hendrick Motorsports engine builders are paired in teams of two with Hendrick Automotive Group master technicians. Fans can watch the championship build live for free on RacingAmerica.TV on Thursday, November 14 at 2 p.m. ET.

Throughout the week, RacingAmerica.TV will also broadcast the last three Hendrick Engine Builder Showdowns. Fans can watch the 2021 event on Monday, November 11 at 2 p.m. ET, with the 2022 and 2023 contests airing on Tuesday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 13 at 2 p.m.

Teams compete in qualifying builds for the 2024 Randy Dorton Engine Builder Showdown on Wednesday, November 13 and Thursday morning to determine the two teams competing for the championship. During each build, teams build 358-cubic-inch Chevrolet engines that resemble the powerplants utilized in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Last year, Danny Emerick and Bill Sullivan defeated Scott Vester and Phil Seaton by less than a second in the dramatic final build. Emerick joined Vester as a six-time Hendrick Engine Builder Showdown champion.
