In the first episode, Andy Petree of Richard Childress Racing takes us step-by-step through the evolution of the cars that have raced in NASCAR’s premier division since its inception in 1949.

Hear from drivers and team personnel on their initial reactions to hearing about the Next Gen car, as well as how they expect the transition to unfold. There is also a side-by-side comparison of the Next Gen car compared to the “Gen 6” NASCAR Cup Series machine, which raced from 2013 to 2021.
