William Byron is now a back-to-back winner of the Daytona 500, surviving a chaotic conclusion to the 67th annual edition of "The Great American Race" to take the win on Sunday evening at Daytona International Speedway.
Byron joins Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough, Sterling Marlin and Denny Hamlin on the short list of drivers to win the Daytona 500 in back-to-back years. Byron escaped a multi-car crash on the final lap to take the win ahead of Tyler Reddick and Jimmie Johnson.
