Starting Lineup: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Rockingham

Jake Garcia earned his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole on Friday, setting quick time in qualifying for the Black's Tire 200 at Rockingham Speedway.

Garcia will lead the field to the green flag in the first NASCAR National Series event at Rockingham since 2013. The Georgia driver qualified with a lap time of 22.050 seconds, an average speed of 166.041 mph around the 1.017-mile facility. Chandler Smith, winner of the most recent NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway, will join Garcia on the front row after qualifying second.

Ben Rhodes, Connor Mosack and Layne Riggs rounded out the top five in the qualifying session.

In total, 34 trucks took time during the qualifying session. Cody Dennison suffered a mechanical failure during the practice session preceding qualifying and did not take part in qualifying.

The Black's Tire 200 takes the green flag at 5 p.m. ET. Coverage will be on Fox Sports 1, the NASCAR Radio Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
