RCR, Marine Toys For Tots Reach Multi-Year Partnership

Richard Childress Racing announced a new multi-year sponsorship partner on Tuesday evening. The six-time NASCAR Cup Series championship winning team will partner with Marine Toys for Tots, which will see the National charitable Program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve serve as a primary sponsorship partner for Austin Dillon in select races.

The charitable organization is excited for the new partnership, and believe the sponsorship will help them tap into the pipeline of millions of NASCAR fans who can help support the cause.

"We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Richard Childress Racing and Austin Dillon's No. 3 Car,” said LtGen Jim Laster, USMC (Retired), President & CEO of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. “This collaboration is a powerful way to drive the message of giving and community support across the finish line, reaching millions of NASCAR fans who can help significantly impact disadvantaged children's lives during the holiday season and beyond."

For Richard Childress Racing, this is an opportunity to help push the Christmastime charitable efforts of Marine Toys for Tots.

The first race that the Marine Toys for Tots colors will adorn the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 race car will be in the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway in September.

Marine Toys for Tots was established in 1947, and is the premier community action program for the U.S. Marine Corps. Additionally, the program is America's most popular children's Christmastime charity.

Dillon, 34, is a four-time NASCAR Cup Series race-winning driver, and he has had a knack for winning some of NASCAR's crown jewel events. Dillon captured a win in the Coca-Cola 600 in 2017, and he followed that victory with a win in the Daytona 500 the following season.

The grandson of Richard Childress would love to add a Southern 500 trophy to his trophy case to go along with those other prestigious pieces of hardware.

While Dillon is in the midst of a slump, which dates back to the start of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season, he has shown the ability to battle his way into the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs with his back against the wall before.

So, just because he's 31st in points after 13 races, don't count Dillon out just yet.

In addition to his four NASCAR Cup Series wins, Dillon also has a total of 16 combined victories between the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and Dillon is a former champion in both of those divisions.
