Monday's race featured 19 lead changes among eight drivers, and the race was slowed by caution seven times for 46 laps. The average speed of the race was 115.505 mph, and Truex won by a margin of 0.505 seconds over Chastain.
Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron won Stage 1 of the race and led a race-high 193 laps, while Chastain won Stage 2.
