Race Results: NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 at Las Vegas

Kyle Larson held off a hard charge from Christopher Bell to score the win in Sunday's South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and lock himself into the Championship 4. The Hendrick Motorsports driver led seven times for a race-high 133 laps, but Larson nearly wrecked the car at one point in the race and held off a late threat from Bell.

Bell's No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota came on strong in the closing laps and gave Larson a run for his money. Coming to the white flag, Bell closed to the back bumper of the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet and crossed the line 0.082 seconds behind Larson.

Non-Playoff drivers Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski and Ross Chastain rounded out the top-five finishers. Following the race, Ryan Blaney's car did not pass post-race inspection and was initially disqualified from his sixth-place finish.

However, on the Monday after the race, NASCAR rescinded the DQ due to an issue with its inspection equipment.
