Qualifying Results: 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500

Chase Briscoe claimed the pole position for the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on Wednesday night, with Austin Cindric joining him in locking onto the front row for "The Great American Race."

Briscoe was fastest of the 10 cars taking part in second-round qualifying, with a time of 49.249 seconds (182.745 miles per hour) during the pole run. Briscoe, starting his first season with Joe Gibbs Racing in the No. 19 Toyota, also set fast time during the first round of qualifying.

Cindric, the 2022 winner of the Daytona 500, qualified second at an average speed of 182.463 miles per hour, securing his spot in this year's Daytona 500. The rest of the lineup will be determined based on the results from Thursday night's Duels at Daytona.

Martin Truex, Jr. and Jimmie Johnson were the two fastest drivers out of nine "Open" competitors competing for spots in the Daytona 500 field. As a result, they are locked into the lineup, although they can also race their way into the event through Thursday's duels and improve upon their starting position.
