The driver of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro turned a quick lap of 27.427 seconds, or 131.258 mph, which was 0.032 sec. faster than Ryan Blaney in second.
Alex Bowman, Larson's teammate, ranked third in the session followed by Joey Logano and Chase Briscoe.

Larson, yet again. The driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro had an average speed of 129.311 over his opening 10 laps of his run on track on Friday, which topped Blaney's 129.211 mph.
