On Thursday, Rick Ware Racing made an impactful announcement about its driver lineup for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. The team has acquired Justin Haley in a multi-year agreement.
Haley, 24, will pilot a Ford Mustang for the Rick Ware Racing team full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. The car number and sponsorship partners for Haley will be announced at a later date.
For Rick Ware Racing, Haley brings a winning pedigree as he has scored victories in the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series over the course of his young career. Haley has also been flourishing as a more consistent force near the front of the field with Kaulig Racing in 2023.
“This is a great day for our team on many levels,” said Rick Ware. “Having someone with Justin’s talent and background become part of our future is a testament to our commitment to growth over the past few years. I have known Justin for a long time, respect all he has achieved in many forms of motorsports and look forward to great success together. His versatility as a driver in multiple series, the continuity we can build around Justin and the respect amongst his peers will pay great dividends for our team. He will be a great teammate for the RWR/RFK Racing alliance.”
Haley, who has five top-10 finishes this season in the NASCAR Cup Series, is excited to start fresh with a unique opportunity at Rick Ware Racing. The young racer truly believes there are some building blocks in place at RWR that can help him elevate his career behind the wheel.

Rick Ware Racing, in addition to its NASCAR Cup Series program, also fields a team in the NHRA, as well as the NTT IndyCar Series, and RWR is involved in sports car racing as well.
The team entered into a technical alliance with RFK Racing this season, and as a result of that alliance, RWR has seen improved strength on the track.
A couple of weeks ago, the team scored a seventh-place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway with JJ Yeley behind the wheel of the No. 15 Ford Mustang.
