Daniel Hemric Moves to McAnally-Hilgemann Racing No. 19 Truck in 2025

Daniel Hemric, who is coming off of a full-time NASCAR Cup Series campaign with Kaulig Racing in 2024, will move to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ranks full-time in 2025. Hemric will pilot the extremely potent No. 19 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing Chevrolet Silverado, which Christian Eckes piled up eight wins in over the last two seasons.

In August, Kaulig Racing hired Eckes to serve as the driver of its No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the 2025 season.

Hemric will carry the iconic NAPA blue and gold colors in what will be the company’s 100th anniversary year. The 2025 campaign will also mark the 35th season of partnership between Bill McAnally and NAPA.

McAnally can’t think of anyone better to put behind the wheel for the significant milestone season between his team and the auto parts retailer.

“We’re looking forward to a big year and Daniel is the guy to pick up where we left off,” McAnally said. “The 2025 season will be a milestone year for us with NAPA’s centennial anniversary and our 35th year of partnership with them. This relationship started with my local store in California and progressed to the NAPA Sacramento DC and then to a national level. To see what we’ve built over the years is incredibly special. Daniel has a wealth of experience in all three national series and can perform in the big moments, so we can’t wait to continue our team’s success with him behind the wheel.”

Hemric, 33, last competed in the NASCAR Truck Series full-time in 2016, a season where he finished the year sixth in the championship standings while driving for the now-defunct Brad Keselowski Racing.

The Kannapolis, NC native, who scored the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship in 2021 with an aggressive move to take the lead, and win over Austin Cindric in the Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway, is excited to be in a position to compete for wins and a championship again.

It’s a big milestone season to be a part of with NAPA’s 100th anniversary and the 35th year of Bill’s partnership with them. We’re going to do everything we can to get the NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet in victory lane and be in contention for a championship.”

McAnally-Hilgemann Racing will announce additional sponsorship partners, and the crew chief for Hemric and the No. 19 team at a later date. Charles Denike, who served as the crew chief for Eckes over the last two seasons, announced in October that he would move to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2025 as the new crew chief for Bubba Wallace and the No. 23 23XI Racing team.
