Alex Bowman Rockets to Pole For Daytona 500; Record Sixth-Consecutive Daytona 500 Front Row Start

For the sixth consecutive year, Alex Bowman and Hendrick Motorsports will be on the front row of the Daytona 500. The driver of the No. 48 Ally Chevrolet advanced through the first round of qualifying and posted a lap of 49.536 in the final round to secure his third Daytona 500 pole.
Kyle Larson and William Byron made it a top-three sweep for Hendrick Motorsports, with laps of 49.708 and 49.799, respectively. While Larson is locked into the front row, Byron will have to race for his starting position in Thursday's Duel 150-mile races.
Aric Almirola, Joey Logano, Chase Briscoe, Ryan Blaney, Austin Cindric, Harrison Burton and Kyle Busch rounded out the top-10 in qualifying.
