On Thursday night, the field for the 2023 Daytona 500 was set. By virtue of getting through their Duel qualifying races without torn-up race cars, Alex Bowman and Kyle Larson will remain on the front row when the green flag flies in Sunday's Great American Race.
Joey Logano and Aric Almirola won their respective Duel races and will roll from third and fourth on the starting grid.
Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, Travis Pastrana, Zane Smith, and Conor Daly were the four drivers that advanced from the "open" car entries and will run the Daytona 500. Austin Hill and Chandler Smith failed to make the field for the race.
