A Thanksgiving weekend tradition in the Northeast, the Turkey Derby returns to Wall Stadium Speedway on Friday-Sunday, November 24-26. Fans unable to attend the event will be able to watch live on Racing America.
All three days of racing at the Turkey Derby will be available via a pay-per-view broadcast on Racing America. For $39.99, fans can watch racing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the 1/3-mile bullring in Wall Township, New Jersey.
The Turkey Derby kicks off on Friday, November 24, with Legend Cars, Limited Late Models, 4 Cylinders, SK/Wall Modfieds and Factory Stocks on track.
On Saturday, November 25, top Modified drivers will go to battle for 150 laps in the Tour Modified Thomas J. Wanick Jr. Memorial Race. The Tour Modified feature will pay $15,000 to the winner, with a record purse of $80,000 offered for the event.
Saturday’s racing action also includes ATQMRA TQ Midgets, Sportsmen, and Dirt Modifieds.
After two days of racing, the Turkey Derby wraps up with its Family Fun Day of exciting Demolition Derbies. Demolition Derby action starts at 2 p.m., with both a Mini Van Demolition Derby and an 8 Cylinder Demolition Derby planned.
On all three days, action will begin at 2 p.m. ET. Grandstands will open at 9 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with qualifying beginning at 11:30 a.m. on those days.
