The theme of the night at Montgomery Motor Speedway was "back-to-back." Jett Noland scored his second consecutive Show Me the Money Pro Late Model Series victory at the Alabama half-mile, while Christopher Tullis successfully defended his 2020 series championship with a runner-up finish in the finale

Noland took the lead from Tullis on lap 57 of the 100-lap Pro Late Model feature during the Alabama State Championship. Tullis had taken the lead from Noland on the sixth circuit, but Noland ultimately prevailed in the second half of the race to win by more than five seconds.
Still, the second-place finish was more than enough for Tullis to maintain his advantage over Augie Grill in the Show Me the Money points battle and claim his second championship in the track's Pro Late Model series.
You look at some of the names that have raced here and won championships here. It's definitely elite company to be in. I feel blessed to be a part of that company. We've had a really good year all year. This is what happens when you put good years together, and hopefully we can put another one together next year.
Tullis attributed his second-half fade to a vibration following the last restart of the race, with a long green-flag run concluding what had been a hectic start to the race.
"We had a good car, for sure. I believe it was the car to beat. I don't know, something happened on that last restart. I had a hard shift or something and it caused a bad vibration, I don't know what was going on there.
"I definitely knew he was a little bit better than me at the end there. I thought I could give him a run for his money, but once I started having that issue, it was better to ride it out and win the championship over going for the race win."
Meanwhile, Noland celebrated in victory lane for the second straight night in the Show Me the Money Series. The Florida native also won on September 25 with the series.
"I can't thank Anthony Campi enough and the whole team for putting together a great race car for me to come out here again. Winning another race at Montgomery, I'm just so blessed to be here."
Brothers Holt and Harrison Halder finished third and fourth, respectively, while Jordan McCallum rounded out the top five. Grill finished sixth after winning the Modifieds of Mayhem feature earlier in the evening.
