Show Me the Money Series
RacingAmerica.TV Viewing Guide for September 7-8

Trevor Sanborn capped off his 2024 Oxford Championship Series Super Late Model title on Saturday night with a win in the season finale at Oxford Plains Speedway.
The Parsonsfield, Maine driver capitalized on a late restart, using a crossover move with seven laps to go to pass Calvin Rose, Jr. for the lead and the win.
The track championship was already well in hand by the time Sanborn took the green flag for Saturday's feature. However, he drove his way through the field, breaking into the top 10 within six laps.
As the lap count ticked under 10 laps to go, Sanborn battled Ryan Deane for the second position while Rose stretched out his lead. However, a caution for Matt Dow spinning slowed the field and erased Rose's advantage. That set the stage for Sanborn's winning pass to wrap up a storybook season.
"It's unbelievable. I can't believe we won," said Sanborn in victory lane. "I knew early today we had a good car. I've got to thank Oxford Plains, the staff, the Mayberry family.
"I've got to thank my car owner, Rick Moody. He gives us the stuff to do it. My crew chief, Kyle DeSouza. This is because of him and that team. I'm just one small equation."
Rose settled for a second-place finish, understandably disappointed by the late-race caution.
"Definitely didn't need that caution," said Rose. "We freed it up a little bit too much after the heat. That's about it. We almost had it."
Sylas Ripley finished fourth, with Ryan Deane and Scott Robbins rounding out the top five.
While the Oxford Championship Series ended its 2024 season on Saturday, there will still be more opportunities to see racing at Oxford Plains Speedway before year's end. On September 28, Motor Mayhem #3 takes place, including a four/six-cylinder Enduro, Spectator drags and Smokey Donuts.
October 19-20 brings the PASS 400 weekend to Oxford Plains Speedway, featuring the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models and Modifieds. Stay tuned for more information regarding the 2024 PASS 400 weekend.
