After another dominant season in the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers at White Mountain Motorsports Park in 2024, and a record-breaking number of wins at Thunder Road, East Thetford, Vermont’s Brandon Gray is making the next step in 2025. The former ‘Tiger King’ is ready to take on the ACT Late Model division at both White Mountain Motorsports Park and Thunder Road with a few American-Canadian Tour appearances also in the works for another busy summer!
Brandon Gray won everything there was to win in Flying Tiger competition last summer, including the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown at White Mountain, the Myers Container Triple Crown at Thunder Road, both track championships and swept the three-race ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series events and championship! Even after all that success, he’s cautiously optimistic for his move up the ladder.
“Coming off this year, I’ll be honest, we’re prepared to be depressed,” Gray said through laughs. “No, we’re ready for it. I’m planning on doing the full Thunder Road schedule, we’ll be at White Mountain for all the Wall’s Platinum Series races, the three ACT races and hopefully most of the weekly shows. We’ve also put the ACT races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Autodrome Chaudière on our 2025 schedule.”
When asked about his goals for the season, Gray thoughtfully answered, “It’s hard coming off last season to not want the same results. Rookie of the Year at Thunder Road is up there, a win at both tracks (Thunder Road and White Mountain) is definitely the goal but we’re ready to play it by ear.”
Gray’s brand new mount is currently being built at Dale Shaw Race Cars with the experienced pilot also having purchased his Port City car he campaigned in several appearances at both tracks last season. Gray will also continue to run Super Streets at Claremont Motorsports Park and plans to tackle the Six Pack Super Street Series in New Hampshire to complete a lofty 52-race schedule for the upcoming season.
White Mountain Motorsports Park begins the 2025 season with the five division HK Powersports Opening Day on Saturday, May 17 followed by the PASS Spectacular on Sunday, May 18 for a twin bill to headline the 33rd season opener at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track! HK Powersports Opening Day will also feature the free-to-the-public annual White Mountain Car Show from 10:00am to 12-noon!
