Three Days of Racing and Fun Leading to Slinger Nationals
There will be three days of action and activity at Slinger Super Speedway as part of the Slinger Nationals on Tuesday, July 11.
Tuesday, July 11 is the date circled on many calendars as Super Late Model teams and fans look forward to the 44th Annual Cobblestone Hotels Slinger Nationals Presented by Lynch Buick GMC West Bend. However, there will be plenty of excitement and fun in the days leading up to the Slinger Nationals at Slinger Speedway.
Fans in the area for the Slinger Nationals can enjoy three days of activity at Slinger Super Speedway as part of the event. The action begins on Sunday, July 9 and runs all the way through the 200-lap Super Late Model main event on Tuesday.
Start your weekend with the “Prelude to the Nationals” on Sunday, July 9, with several of Slinger’s local divisions in action. The Midwest Truck Series headline the evening of racing, with 602 Late Models, the Wolter, Inc. Sportsmen, Finish Line Bar & Grill Slinger Bees and Marine Corps High School Racing Association also on track.
Along with being the kickoff to Slinger Nationals weekend, Sunday night is Wolter, Inc. Tech College Night at Slinger Speedway. Fans who present a Tech College student ID at the gate will receive admission for $5, saving $10 on their ticket.
Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. CT, with pre-race ceremonies kicking off at 6:15 CT and racing to follow.
Monday, July 10 will be practice day for the Slinger Nationals, as Super Late Model teams will be hard at work preparing their cars for Tuesday’s racing. However, there will also be the Qualifying Draw and the Green Flag Party. Grandstand admission is free throughout the day, so come out to the track to enjoy practice start at 10 a.m. CT or attend the Green Flag Party starting at 5 p.m. CT.
This all leads up to the Slinger Nationals on Tuesday, July 11. Spectator gates will open at 11:30 a.m. CT, with practice starting at 1 p.m. for the Uptown Motorcars Pro Late Models and the Super Late Models. Qualifying begins at 4:45 p.m., with opening ceremonies at 6:20 p.m. and the Super Late Model qualifying race at 6:45 p.m.
