Thompson Icebreaker Schedule and Event Info
There will be 11 feature races over the course of two days at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.
A tradition unlike any other in the Northeast racing scene, the 49th Thompson Icebreaker Weekend takes place on April 1-2 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.
Headlined by the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models on Saturday and the Icebreaker 125 for the Thompson Outlaw Open Modifieds on Sunday, there will be 11 feature races across two days at the historic Connecticut facility.
Saturday's racing includes the PASS Super Late Models, as well as Sunoco Modifieds, the EXIT Realty Pro Trucks, Late Models, the Mighty Mini Stock Series and Open Street Stocks. Heat racing is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET, with opening ceremonies expected to start at 2:30 p.m. and feature racing to follow.
Sunday's opening ceremonies begin at 12:45 p.m., with racing to follow. The Limited Sportsman, SK Light Modifieds, Sunoco Modifieds and Mini Stocks will all take the track before the Icebreaker 125 for the Open Modifieds.
Fans unable to attend the Thompson Icebreaker Weekend can watch all of the action live on Racing America. Racing America's broadcast will begin at approximately 1 p.m. on both days.
