Pensacola, FL - The Southern Super Series is proud to announce that starting in 2022, all series-sanctioned points events will feature enhanced purses guaranteeing at least $10,000 to the winner of each race and a minimum of $750 to start.

Additionally, there will be an increased payout to series regulars who follow the tour throughout the season with the creation of the Southern Super Stars program.

Super Late Model Drivers inside the top 12 in series points following the Rattler 250 on March 13th qualify to enter the Southern Super Stars for the next series points event. At that event, they will compete against the other drivers in the top 12 of series points for up to $750 in additional prize money for the highest finisher, in essence creating a race within the race for those racing for series points.

The second place driver would receive $600, with third place receiving $500, fourth place earning $400, fifth place taking $300 and sixth through 12th receiving $250.

Each week, drivers in the Southern Super Stars will receive co-branded marketing support from the Southern Super Series, including but not limited to availability for interviews on Hype Motorsports' Pitside Live pre-race broadcast, opportunities to showcase their car and sponsors at series sanctioned events, social media marketing collateral, merchandise sales opportunities, and hero card designs.

"This is the program we've been seeking to benefit our racers," said Tim Bryant. "The increased prize money is the key, but the marketing assistance we're offering through our partnership with Hype Motorsports could be invaluable as well."

The Southern Super Series kicks off the regular season points with the 46th Annual Rattler 250 at South Alabama Speedway on March 13th.
