Show Me the Money Series Prepares For Twin Features on Saturday

After Mother Nature prevented the Saturday of Speed at Montgomery Motor Speedway from taking place as scheduled in July, the Show Me the Money Series will contest double features on Saturday, September 7.

The Pro Late Models of the Show Me the Money Series have a pair of 75-lap features on deck for Montgomery's Fall Brawl. Currently, 25 teams are entered for the double feature on the penultimate weekend of the series.

Through the first four races of this year's Show Me the Money Series, Jake Finch holds the points lead including a win in May. As fate would have it, Finch was originally scheduled to miss the Saturday of Speed 125 due to the ARCA Menards Series event at Salem Speedway. Instead, that race was rained out, and Finch's title hopes remain as strong as ever going into this weekend's doubleheader.

Clint King, second in the standings with a 36-point deficit, will have two chances on Saturday to close in on Finch and pick up his first Show Me the Money win. John Bolen won the most recent Show Me the Money Series race, and the two-time series champion will be looking for another win on Saturday.

The Fall Brawl racing card also includes 71-lap features for the Street Stocks and Late Model Sportsman to celebrate the track's 71st anniversary, as well as a 20-lap Crown Stock feature. Grandstands open at 4 p.m. CT, with qualifying at 4:30 p.m. CT and racing at 6 p.m. CT.
