Results: Carson Brown Fastest on Alabama 200 Practice Day at Montgomery

Carson Brown set the fastest time across four 25-minute rounds of practice Friday in preparation for the 61st Alabama 200 at Montgomery Motor Speedway.

Brown's fastest lap clocked in at 19.311 seconds around the Alabama half-mile, setting the tone ahead of Saturday's 200-lap Pro Late Model contest. Jarrett Butcher was second-fastest, followed by Chase Pinsonneault.

The Modifieds of Mayhem Tour also took the track for practice on Friday. Jeremy Williams, one of the two winners in a doubleheader for the series at Montgomery last October, set quick time at 20.405 seconds. Johnny Brazier was second, followed by L.J. Grimm.

All told, 44 cars took time in practice on Friday across the two divisions. There are also some confirmed entrants who did not take part in Friday's practice, or were limited in their track time on Friday.

Friday's practice, particularly the final round of the evening, gave drivers an opportunity to prepare under the lights ahead of Saturday night's race. Practice is scheduled between Noon and 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, with the first green flag of the evening scheduled to wave at 6 p.m. CT.
