RacingAmerica.TV will broadcast five Super Late Model races from Mission Valley Super Oval during the 2024 season as part of the Montana Big 5 Series.
The five-race series will crown the Montana track’s Super Late Model champion for the year. The series also includes one of the biggest races in the Northwestern United States, the Montana 200. Fans unable to attend the events will be able to watch live with a subscription to RacingAmerica.TV.
The Montana Big 5 Super Late Model Series kicks off on June 8, with Legends and Hobby Stocks joining the racing program on that date. Other Super Late Model races are scheduled for June 22, the Montana 200 weekend on July 12-13, August 3 and September 7.
“Mission Valley Super Oval, home of the Montana 200, proudly presents their first Super Late Model series. We're excited to partner with Racing America to present the Montana Big 5 Series,” said Tony Undem of Mission Valley Super Oval.
“We're working together with Racing Dynamiks to make this series the biggest and best in the Northwest. It's a series truly dedicated to the racers, crews, and fans. We'll have the largest payouts, money bonuses, and pole awards. All of this was made possible by amazing sponsors. We'll showcase top drivers and teams to give not only fans at Mission Valley Super Oval ‘edge of your seat’ action but also to gain fans across the nation through the Racing America streaming platform.”
The Montana 200 first took place in 1991 at the defunct Montana Raceway Park in Kalispell, Montana. Following the closing of Montana Raceway Park in 2020, Mission Valley Super Oval in Polson, Montana became the new home of the Montana 200 in 2021.
B.J. Tidrick won the first two runnings of the Montana 200 at Mission Valley in 2021 and 2022. Last year, Shelby Thompson took the victory in the event.
