Cole Butcher has been the fastest man on the property so far on Saturday at Toledo Speedway for the Hearn Industrial Glass City 200 presented by DTS Drive Train Specialists and Courtyard by Marriott.
After setting quick time in both rounds of practice at the Ohio half-mile, the Nova Scotia native also claimed the GoFas Racing Pole Award in qualifying. Butcher clocked in at 15.520 seconds, narrowly edging out Noah Gragson for the fast time.
Jesse Love was third-fastest, followed by Bubba Pollard and Austin Nason. Ty Majeski, who enters the race with the points lead in the ASA STARS National Tour, missed out on the redraw with a ninth-place qualifying effort.
Even with the redraw, Butcher will remain on the front row for the 200-lap Super Late Model race. Kyle Crump drew the number-one spot in the starting grid, with Butcher claiming the second position. Crump had qualified eighth, making him the biggest winner of the redraw.
The green flag will drop on the Glass City 200 at approximately 5:30 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the event live on Racing America.
