Labor Day Weekend Viewing Guide on RacingAmerica.TV
Aug 26, 2024
This year's Boss Hogg 150 boasts an advertised entry list of nearly 50 competitors challenging for the $15,000 prize in the Labor Day showcase.
Close to 50 teams have entered this Sunday’s Boss Hogg 150 at Wiscasset Speedway, as a star-studded field of Pro Stocks will compete for $15,000.
The event has become a Labor Day tradition at the 1/3-mile oval in Wiscasset, Maine. Currently, 48 advertised entries are set to battle for the $15,000 prize and a place in the race’s history.
Several former Boss Hogg 150 winners are among the entries. Mike Hopkins (2018, 2022), Kevin Douglass (2021) and Trevor Sanborn (2020) will be looking to add another Boss Hogg 150 win to their collection on Sunday.
Douglass has also won four Pro Stock races at Wiscasset this season in five appearances. Nick Hinkley and Dan McKeage, Jr. are currently tied for the points lead in the track’s Pro Stock division. Hinkley has three feature wins in nine starts, but McKeage, Jr. has eight top-five finishes and has not finished outside the top 10 this year.
There are several other standouts of the region who will be on hand looking to take home the $15,000 payday. Drivers such as Johnny Clark, Kelly and Ryan Moore, Joey Doiron, Joey Polewarczyk, Jr., and many more dot the entry list, all with a chance to win the Boss Hogg 150.
The Boss Hogg 150 will be part of a big Labor Day weekend at Wiscasset Speedway. Late Models, Modifieds, Roadrunners and NE Dwarf Cars will race on Saturday, August 31st. Sunday’s racing program also includes NEMA Midgets, NEMA Lites and Strictly Streets.
Fans can watch Sunday’s racing live on RacingAmerica.TV, starting at 2 p.m. ET. Click here to become a RacingAmerica.TV subscriber today and watch the excitement unfold from Wiscasset.
