Oxford Plains Speedway officials have announced another marquee midweek Super Late Model event for the track's 2025 schedule.
The Inaugural Memorial Day Clash 200 will take place on Tuesday, May 27, forming the first leg of the Oxford Crown Jewel Triple Crown. The Triple Crown consists of the Memorial Day Clash 200, the Celebration of America 300 on July 1-2, and the 52nd Annual Oxford 250 on August 22-24.
The event offers a special format, utilizing time trials to set the main event's top 20 cars in the field. This is a departure from standard Oxford Plains Speedway and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model events that exclusively use heat races for qualifying.
Drivers who qualify outside the top 20 will be divided into heat races to determine the remainder of the 35-car field for the inaugural Memorial Day Clash 200.
There will be a competition yellow flag, offering teams the opportunity to change two tires during the 200-lap event. If a natural caution occurs between laps 100 and 125, that will serve as the competition caution. Otherwise, officials will display the yellow flag on lap 125.
The Memorial Day Clash 200 will pay $10,000 to win, with a total purse of more than $50,000. Ticket prices, support devisions and scheduling details for the inaugural Memorial Day Clash 200 will be announced at a later date.
There will be a separate points battle for the Oxford Crown Jewel Triple Crown, with the top five finishers in points receiving awards at the 2025 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) awards banquet.
PASS will officiate the Memorial Day Clash, which will be sponsored by Kneeland-Hopkins Promotions. Stay tuned to proallstarsseries.com for more information regarding the Memorial Day Clash 200 and the 2025 PASS season.
