Several top-notch Late Model competitors are entered for both the Blizzard Series and Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series finales at Five Flags Speedway on Saturday.
The Night of Champions at Five Flags Speedway always draws a star-studded lineup of drivers to close out the Road to the Snowball Derby. This year's edition sees several top Late Model drivers entered for both the ASA Southern Super Series/Blizzard Series race and the Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series finale.
Six drivers have entered both Late Model events on Saturday, September 28 at Five Flags Speedway. Among them are current Southern Super Series points leader Casey Roderick, 25-time Blizzard Series race winner Bubba Pollard and Sunshine State 200 winner Cole Butcher.
Last year's Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series champion, John Bolen, is also among the double-duty drivers, as well as ARCA Menards Series Talladega winner Jake Finch. Dustin Smith, a winner this year in Pro Late Model competition at Mobile International Speedway, rounds out the half-dozen drivers competing in both races.
There are plenty of other drivers to watch on Saturday as well. Stephen Nasse leads Roderick in the Blizzard Series points and will be looking to wrap up that championship with a strong finish on Saturday night. Carson Brown carries a 14-point advantage over Seth Christensen entering the Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series finale.
As has more frequently been the case in recent years, there will be several competitors from the Western United States taking part in the Night of Champions ahead of the Snowball Derby on December 4-8. Former Snowball Derby pole-sitter Preston Peltier, Jacob Gomes and Buddy Shepherd are part of the Super Late Model field, while Trevor Cristiani represents Idaho in the Pro Late Model event.
Other notables on the Super Late Model entry list include Rumble by the River winner Matt Craig and 2023 Winchester 400 winner Gio Ruggiero. Young guns Dawson Sutton and Kaden Honeycutt are entered for the Super Late Model event on Saturday as well as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Kansas Speedway on Friday.
The full entry lists for both races can be viewed below.
The Story & Bleich Roofing Crown Stocks will also be in action on Saturday at Five Flags Speedway. Allen Turner Pro Late Model qualifying begins at 5:30 p.m. CT, with Southern Super Series qualifying to follow.
There will also be a driver autograph session starting at 6:30 p.m. CT, with racing starting at 7:30 p.m.
