Front Row Motorsports Signs Five-Race Deal with Beef-a-Roo
Mar 11, 2025
Officials at the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) in coordination with Kneeland- Hopkins Promotions announced today that two-time NASCAR Cup Champion Kyle Busch and former NASCAR Xfinity Champion Daniel Hemric will make their return to Oxford Plains Speedway in 2025. Both NASCAR drivers have declared their intent to enter the first running of the Memorial Day Clash 200 slated for Tuesday, May 27th. Both drivers competed in the 1st annual Celebration of America in 2024.
Busch, often referred to as "Rowdy," is the owner of 232 wins in the top three NASCAR divisions, including 102 in the Xfinity series, 67 in the Truck series, and 63 in the top-level Cup series where he is also a two time champion. Hemric was the 2021 Xfinity series champion is currently competing on the NASCAR Craftsman truck series in the number 19.
"We are very excited about Kyle and Daniel returning to compete at Oxford this year,” said PASS president and Oxford Plains Speedway owner Tom Mayberry. "A lot of people in that group worked really hard to put this deal together. I think it's going to be great for the fans and the competitors."
Both drivers are seeking a bit of redemption from the 2024 edition of the Celebration of America. Busch ran near the front for the majority of the 300 laps, however, contact with 29 laps to go ended his race prematurely and relegated him to a 24th-place finish. Hemric soldiered his way to a 21st-place run two laps in arrears.
The Inaugural Memorial Day Clash 200 will be first leg of the Oxford Crown Jewel Triple Crown. In addition to the Clash, the legs of the Crown Jewel Triple will be the Celebration of America 300, and the 52nd Annual Oxford 250. Kneeland-Hopkins Promotions have sponsored this event and created a unique format that will utilize time trials to lock in the top 2 cars for the main event, provided they run all the laps in their respective heat races. Straight up heat lineups will also be generated from the time trial results to qualify the remainder of the 35 car field. A competition caution is scheduled between laps 100 and 125 for racers to change two tires limiting the 200 lap tilt to a 6 tire race featuring $10,000 to win.
Both drivers have a lot of experience with Time Trials which will give them a built in advantage over the local racers who are accustomed to heat races. However, the tricky Oxford Plains Speedway is known to be the great equalizer that can humble even the best of drivers on any given day. For their part, both drivers have stated they are not coming to ride around. Both drivers want to be the first to etch their names on the inaugural Memorial Day Clash Trophy and take the winnings back south with them.
Ticket prices and support divisions will be announced in the near future. Please watch the websites at www.oxfordplains.com and www.proallstarsseries.com for more updates.
