Jett Noland made it back-to-back at Cordele Motor Speedway on Saturday night, winning the Georgia Spring Nationals for the Atlanta Paving & Concrete Construction Pro Late Models.
Noland, who also won the season opener for the Pro Late Model division at Cordele, dominated Saturday's 100-lap feature after starting on the second row. Noland moved into the lead on lap 12 and led the remainder of the race, finishing ahead of Casey Roderick and Luke Yarbrough.
"I felt like we had a great race car," said Noland in victory lane. "I can't thank my guys enough. We've been bringing a good piece to the racetrack ever since we got this new FURY car. I can't thank those guys enough for all the help they provide to us.
"Cohen Law Group, Noland's Roofing, everybody that helps to get this race car where it needs to be. We can't be happier to be in victory lane here again."
Roderick settled for a second-place finish, lacking the necessary grip to chase down Noland and contend for the win in his No. 62.
"I just didn't have enough for the 50 there," said Roderick. "I was getting really free. I just didn't have enough grip to pull up off the corner and have a chance. But for the luck we've had here lately, I'll take second here. We've just got to get a little better."
Meanwhile, Luke Yarbrough took a third-place finish in a second Ty King Motorsports entry, giving him plenty of reason to celebrate.
"I just can't thank the whole Ty King Motorsports crew enough for this car," said Yarbrough. "It was awesome, you know, so many people helped me out this weekend. Casey taught me a ton. Doug Stevens, Ty King, and everyone with this car helped me out so much."
Garrett Gumm finished fourth, with Christopher Tullis rounding out the top five.
The next event at Cordele Motor Speedway is April 5, headlined by the second round of Super Fest for the UARA National Super Late Models at Cordele. Pure Stocks, Enduros, Crown Vics, Outlaws, Legends and Bandoleros will also be in action.
For the Atlanta Paving & Concrete Construction Pro Late Models, the next race is May 31. Outlaws, Mini Stocks, Crown Vics, Legends, Bandoleros will also be part of that event.
