Sheridan’s 2024 season has been marked by both multiple top 5’s and challenging mechanical setbacks, however, the seasoned driver is determined to end the year with a standout performance. The upcoming race presents an opportunity for Sheridan to showcase all the hard work his team has put into the program.
“We’ve had our share of challenges this year, but we’ve also had moments that reminded us why we love racing,” said Sheridan. “The Castrol 300 is a chance for us to show what we’re capable of and to end the season on a positive note. I’m thankful for the opportunity to complete yet again another APC season and grateful for the support from my family, team and fans.”
Sheridan is aiming to leverage his experience at his home track in order to be competitive for the longest race of the season and secure a strong finish.The race at Delaware Speedway is expected to draw a large crowd, including hometown fans of Jake’s and his many local sponsors.
Sheridan is a prominent name in the United Racing Series, known for his competitive spirit and dedication to the sport. Despite a rollercoaster season, Sheridan remains a favourite to win the 300-lap event, particularly after his impressive performance in the July 2023 Canada Day weekend race, where he came from the rear of the field to secure a win.
Fans and supporters of the sport are encouraged to come out and attend the prestige event at Delaware Speedway, nonetheless if you're unable to join in person Racing America will have all of the action live.
