Gabe Brown Paces Saturday Opening Practice at Oxford 250

After rainy weather prevented any on-track activity on Friday at Oxford Plains Speedway, PASS Super Late Models took the track early Saturday morning for practice ahead of Sunday's 50th Annual Spencer Paving Group Oxford 250. One of the busiest drivers on the property set fast time during the extended practice session.

Gabe Brown, who will be racing in three divisions over the next two days at Oxford, posted the fastest recorded lap of the session at 15.365 seconds. Brown will compete in the PASS Super Late Model on Sunday, but races tonight with both the American-Canadian Tour Late Models and Modified Racing Series.

2020 Oxford 250 winner Johnny Clark was second-fastest, with Austin Teras placing third. Dave Farrington and Dennis Spencer rounded out the top five. A total of 50 drivers recorded laps during the practice session.

The Super Late Models will have another chance to practice on Saturday at 1:10 p.m ET. They will also have practice sessions on Sunday morning prior to the Oxford 250.

With modified schedules for the weekend following Friday's rainout, there will be 13 divisions of feature racing on Saturday, including ACT, MRS and the New England Supermodified Series. The PASS Oxford 250 headlines a Sunday racing program which will have eight feature races, along with all of the Heats, Consis and the Last Chance Qualifier for the Oxford 250.
