Five Flags Speedway officials announced the track’s 2025 season schedule, promising another year of excitement at the famed Pensacola, Florida half-mile.
As always, the year builds towards the biggest event in pavement short track racing, the Snowball Derby. The 58th Annual Snowball Derby takes place on December 4-7, 2025.
The season will also start with a big weekend, with three days of racing on March 21-23. Opening night on Friday, March 21 features the Faith Chapel Outlaws, Dock of Pensacola Beach Sportsman and Story & Bleich Roofing Crown Stocks.
On Saturday, March 22, the ARCA Menards Series East competes in the Pensacola 150, alongside the Vores Compact Touring Series in its return to Five Flags Speedway.
Sunday, March 23 features the ASA STARS National Tour in the 3rd Annual Sunshine State 200. That event also serves as the first race for the Deep South Crane Blizzard Series.
The Blizzard Series returns to action on April 11. Remaining Blizzard Series events are on June 27 and September 27, paving the road to the Snowball Derby.
Meanwhile, the Road to the Allen Turner Snowflake 100 begins on April 25 with the first Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series event of 2025. Pro Late Models will also be on track on June 13, August 29 and September 27’s Night of Champions #2.
The Modifieds of Mayhem Tour visits Five Flags Speedway on May 9. They will be joined by the Outlaws, Pure Stocks and Crown Stocks.
Fans can meet Five Flags Speedway’s local drivers on May 16. The Outlaws, Sportsman, Pure Stocks and Crown Stocks take center stage on that evening.
August 8 brings a smash hit, as it will be Demolition Derby Night at Five Flags. Along with the demo derby, the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour, Sportsman, Pure Stocks and Crown Stocks will be on track in feature racing.
Before the crowning of Blizzard Series and Allen Turner Pro Late Model champions on September 27, Five Flags’ local champions will be crowned on September 20 during Night of Champions #1.
Teams competing in the 58th Annual Snowball Derby can also circle November 22 on their calendar. That will be the Snowball Derby Preview, the last open practice ahead of the Snowball Derby as well as a chance to run for the money during the final round of practice.
Once again, the Snowball Derby Preview concludes with the Crown Stock Derby 40, the biggest race of the year for the Story & Bleich Crown Stocks.
