Finch Fastest in Clyde Hart Memorial Qualifying

Jake Finch set fast time in qualifying for the Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway ahead of the 100-lap, $10,000-to-win race for the ASA Southern Super Series at the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.

Finch out-qualified the rest of the 31-car Super Late Model field with a time of 17.794 seconds. Following the top-eight redraw per the Southern Super Series rulebook, Finch will start sixth.

James Lynch will lead the field to green after the redraw. Lynch had qualified fourth during the single-car time trial.

Matt Hirschman set fast time in the Tour-type Modified qualifying session for their 50-lap feature. Hirschman will be looking for another win after taking the checkered flag on Monday. With an invert of four, Patrick Emerling will lead the field to green.
