A star-studded field of drivers is headed to North Wilkesboro Speedway to compete with the CARS Late Model Stock Tour to close out the pavement portion of the Racetrack Revival.
A total of 30 cars are entered for the 125-lap Late Model Stock Car event, taking place on the last day of racing on the current North Wilkesboro surface before it is removed for the dirt racing segment of the Racetrack Revival in October.
Headlining the list is NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Earnhardt will drive a No. 3 Sun Drop car, inspired by the Late Model he raced at North Wilkesboro in 1993.

Of course, he will be going against some of the top Late Model Stock competition around in this event. Past CARS Tour champions Bobby McCarty and Jared Fryar lead the way. They will be joined by CARS Tour regulars such as Connor Hall, Carson Kvapil, Chad McCumbee and Jonathan Shafer, who have all been to victory lane with the series this year.
There will be other recognizable names in the field as well. NASCAR Truck Series race winner Corey Heim, NASCAR Xfinity Series competitor Stefan Parsons, 2016 ValleyStar Credit Union 300 winner Mike Looney, and four-time CARS Pro Late Model Tour race winner William Sawalich are month the other entrants in the field.

The CARS Late Model Stock Cars will be joined on August 30-31 by Limited Late Models and Street Stocks on the racing card. Those divisions will have feature races on both Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Event tickets are available at racetrackrevival.com for fans planning to make the pilgrimage to North Wilkesboro Speedway for the event. However, we understand most fans won’t be able to attend all of the racing throughout the month of August in person.
Through a partnership between XR Events and Racing America, fans unable to attend the Racetrack Revival will be able to watch each day of racing live on Racing America via a la carte pay-per-view options.
