A field of 40 cars is currently entered for the Icebreaker at Florence Motor Speedway on February 10-11, one of the big kickoff events in Late Model Stock Car racing in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Of course, the biggest name on the entry list is NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Earnhardt competed last fall at Florence in the Charlie Powell Memorial South Carolina 400, finishing ninth. He notably made his return to Late Model Stock Car racing at North Wilkesboro Speedway during last year’s Racetrack Revival, finishing third.

Brenden Queen won the South Carolina 400 last fall in his first race for Lee Pulliam Performance. He will be back looking for another big win at Florence this weekend.
Carson Kvapil, last year’s CARS Late Model Stock Tour champion, will once again be teammates with Earnhardt, driving the No. 8 out of the JR Motorsports stable.
For many of the drivers in the Late Model Stock field, this will be their first opportunity to hit the track in 2023. Whether it be CARS Tour regulars or hometown drivers who race at Florence weekly.
