Delaware Speedway and the United Racing Series Announces a $60K Purse

The 43rd Annual Great Canadian Race Weekend on September 6th and 7th, 2024 at Delaware Speedway has a rich history with an incredible list of winners from Canada and the USA and this years Castrol Great Canadian 300 for the APC Late Model Series is on the same date that the 1st Annual took place in 1981, and the winner of the inaugural event was the late great Don Biederman in his legendary #43.

Delaware Speedway is super excited to announce that the Castrol Great Canadian 300 on September 7th will have a $60,000.00 purse paying $10,000.00 to win and $1,500.00 to start for the Championship race of the APC Late Model Series where the NTN Triple Crown champion will also be decided. The Great Canadian Race Weekend is going to be a huge event with all kinds of activities, camping and two great days of racing. Friday September 6th will see a card featuring the Championship race for the Dayco Super Stock Series along with V8 Stocks and Bone Stocks and then Saturday September 7th will see the United Racing Series/OSCAAR Modifieds and Hot Rods capped off with the Castrol Great Canadian 300 with the $60K purse. We expect to draw the best of the best throughout the weekend.
