Apr 10, 2024
Bubba Pollard is no stranger to traveling far and wide for some of the biggest events in Late Model racing. This summer, he will add another race to that list.
Wenatchee Valley Super Oval announced on Thursday that Pollard has entered the $25,000-to-win Wenatchee 200 Presented by Plumb Perfect on June 1. The event will be Pollard's first trip to the Washington quarter-mile.
"Pollard is noted as one of the most successful and biggest names in super late model racing, winning the All American 400, Oxford 250, Slinger Nationals, Rattler 250, World Crown 300, Summer Showdown, Winter Showdown and many more with over 100 SLM wins through his career," stated the track. "Pollard will team up with Evans Racing Enterprises to pilot the #26 ERE Blue Senneker Performance Chassis."
The race will be Pollard's second trip to the state of Washington. Pollard won the 2015 Summer Showdown at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington, finishing ahead of Garrett Evans and Derek Thorn.
It's already been a memorable 2024 season for Pollard, with marquee wins at SpeedFest, the Clyde Hart Memorial and the Rattler 250. Pollard also made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Richmond Raceway, finishing sixth with JR Motorsports.
